Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant Admin to support the accounting practice owner with administrative, accounting, and tax-related work. This role will initially focus on assisting the CPA owner with email and calendar management, task coordination, client onboarding, and select accounting and tax assignments. As the company grows, this position is expected to transition into a full-time role with increasing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage incoming email and calendar scheduling for the CPA owner.
- Prioritize tasks and workload for the owner and ensure timely follow-up.
- Assign work to internal staff and oversee completion.
- Maintain organized records and documentation.
Accounting & Tax Support
- Assist with accounting and tax work as needed using QuickBooks Online and other systems.
- Support client onboarding processes and data collection.
- Prepare or assist with basic accounting entries, reconciliations, and reviews.
- Work with the CPA owner on tax preparation tasks and filings.
Client & Internal Communication
- Communicate professionally and clearly with clients and staff.
- Help respond to client inquiries and ensure excellent client experience.
- Collaborate with the team in Microsoft Teams and other communication tools.

taxQualifications
- Experience in U.S. public accounting (education + experience required).
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required.
- Strong understanding of QuickBooks Online and accounting fundamentals.
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (internal and client facing).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Critical thinker who asks questions and suggests process improvements.
- Comfortable using ChatGPT or similar AI tools for research and operational insights.

Position Description
Time
- You will need to work for 8 hours from 4pm till 12 am Leb time.
- This is a Full-Time role.
- You will also be expected to complete your tasks (see above) 5 days a week.
- Your days off will be on Saturday and Sunday.
- This position is remote. So you will have the freedom to work from anywhere.
