Ai Specialist
Company Overview
This company is a fully remote, AI-driven performance marketing business that generates qualified leads and booked appointments for financial advisors across the United States. It runs paid Meta ad campaigns into qualifying funnels, scores incoming leads, and routes each one to the advisor who purchased it for the call. With a lean, eight-person team, the company already runs much of its marketing and operations on automation and internal AI agents, and is investing further in that capability. It positions itself as a technology-forward growth partner, turning paid lead generation into a scalable, automated system for its advisor clients.
Mission
We're hiring the builder behind our marketing and operations machinery. You'll take on the work currently done manually and turn it into AI-driven systems, build the internal tools and agents the company doesn't have yet, and keep everything running lean on cost. Day-to-day you'll build and maintain funnels, CRM workflows, and reporting; stay ahead of what's shipping in AI and bring recommendations to the team, not just links; and work closely with sales, fulfillment, and client success to turn their bottlenecks into working automations. If you enjoy building things nobody asked for, staying current on AI tooling, and working in a fast, remote team where your ideas move quickly into production — you'll feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will vary, giving you room to learn, build, and grow while raising the bar on how the business runs.
- Build new internal tools and AI agents from scratch, and improve the ones already running for client success, lead quality, onboarding, ad tracking, and reporting.
- Build and maintain funnels, forms, and landing pages.
- Set up CRM workflows, lead routing, and SMS/email automation.
- Connect APIs and marketing tools so systems talk to each other.
- Build reporting that pulls from the ad platform, CRM, lead distribution, and payment systems, and makes the numbers agree.
- Launch and maintain ad campaigns, and troubleshoot and diagnose issues when something breaks.
- Write custom code when no existing tool does the job, and coordinate with developers or vendors when one is brought in.
- Find inefficiencies across operations, fulfillment, and sales before anyone flags them, and turn them into automations.
- Own the automation layer end to end — every seam where a lead moves from ad click to advisor CRM, and a client moves from signed to live.
- Stay current on AI models, agents, and tooling, and bring the team recommendations, not just links.
- Build lean: choose the cheapest model or approach that holds quality, and know the cost per run.
- Document learnings and playbooks so automations keep working even when you're not the one watching them.
Qualifications
- Years of Experience: 3+ years building AI-powered automations, internal tools, or marketing/operations systems in production, ideally in a lean or remote team
- CRM Tool: Hands-on experience with a CRM and its integrations (e.g., GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or similar) — GoHighLevel is a strong plus
- Softwares: Automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier), AI agent tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), paid ad platforms (Meta Ads), and reporting/analytics tools
- Industry Knowledge Required: Performance marketing, lead generation, or marketing-agency environments; experience in the financial services / advisor space is a plus
- Specific Gender: No preference
Skills & Competencies
- Fast, reliable, and resourceful — figures things out instead of waiting to be told how
- Genuinely current on AI (models, agents, tooling), with informed opinions and the ability to defend them
- Cost-aware by instinct — reaches for the cheapest approach that holds quality and can state cost per run
- Can build and fix things independently, including writing code when a tool won't do it
- Understands marketing and paid ads well enough to discuss cost per lead, tracking, and attribution
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable leading conversations with the team and pushing back when a request isn't the real problem
- Works independently — given a goal and context, returns with the thing built and proof it works
- High attention to detail and ownership of deliverables; reports work as done only after checking the real result
