Company Overview
It is a direct-response creative and media team focused on helping moving companies grow through high-performing content and paid social. The company plans and films full content days, then turns that footage into ads and organic content that drive real leads. It's a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment where ideas are validated by performance, not aesthetics. The culture values ownership, speed, clean execution, and a clear line of sight to results.
You'll join a remote team that thinks like media buyers and creators at the same time. Expect tight feedback loops, lots of experimentation, and a commitment to building systems that make every content day more productive than the last. If you like working with people who care about measurable outcomes and respect craft without getting precious, this is the place.
Mission
We're looking for a Content Editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping ads and daily content that make the phone ring. You'll receive 100+ GB from a single shoot and turn it into as many usable pieces as possible—often 60–90+ deliverables across paid ads, reels/shorts, graphics, thumbnails, and photo edits. You'll move fast, think like a performance marketer, and ship clean work that's on-brand and ready to launch.
Day to day, you'll cut content using a hooks-first approach, build multiple variations per persona, add clean captions and headlines, and organize everything so clients can deploy immediately. You'll iterate on winners, elevate top performers into polished versions, and use AI tools to speed up your workflow. If you enjoy high-volume editing, rapid testing, and owning results from first cut to final export—you'll feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence. You'll balance speed with precision, delivering clean, performance-ready content on tight timelines.
- Cut full content-day footage into batches of paid ads and organic social content for moving company clients.
- Assemble ads using a hooks-first system: one core body/CTA paired with multiple hooks tailored to different customer personas.
- Add clean, readable, and grammatically correct captions, headlines, and on-screen text optimized for mobile.
- Edit and deliver photos from shoots alongside video deliverables.
- Build graphics, thumbnails, and static ads; create polished versions of top-performing creatives once results are in.
- Edit the company's own content (daily posts, agency marketing, and internal campaigns).
- Organize footage, create selects, pull soundbites, and name files; maintain clear folder structures and delivery formats for each client.
- Deliver the first five finished videos within 48 hours of content handoff; deliver remaining assets within 10 business days.
- Produce multiple variants per concept (hooks, lengths, formats, and aspect ratios for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts).
- Ensure exports are platform-ready with correct specs, compression, and subtitles; maintain brand consistency across all assets.
- Use AI tools to streamline transcription, captioning, cleanup, and ideation—without sacrificing editorial judgment.
- Monitor creative performance feedback and iterate on winning angles, hooks, and cuts for ongoing testing.
- Flag risks early (missing footage, blockers, timeline concerns) and keep stakeholders informed.
- Maintain and improve repeatable editing systems, templates, and workflows to increase speed and output over time.
- Manage large file transfers and storage; handle 100+ GB projects without bottlenecks.
