Mission

We’re looking for a Google SEO / Website Specialist who can lead ongoing SEO strategy and implementation while also building and improving websites using AI-enabled tools—always with the right guardrails to protect and grow rankings. You’ll own the full SEO lifecycle (technical, on-page, content, and off-page) and transform insights into clean, fast, and conversion-friendly websites.

Day-to-day, you’ll conduct audits, craft strategies, implement optimizations, design and ship pages, and report on performance. You’ll use AI to accelerate delivery—never to cut corners—ensuring content quality, E-E-A-T, and long-term SEO health. If you enjoy mixing creativity with analytics, moving quickly with precision, and collaborating in a flexible, outcome-driven environment—you’ll feel right at home.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence. You’ll combine strong SEO fundamentals with practical website design and development execution, using AI responsibly to move faster without sacrificing quality.

  • Own end-to-end SEO strategy and implementation across technical, on-page, and off-page pillars
  • Perform comprehensive SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, CWV, site speed, sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicals)
  • Conduct keyword research, SERP and competitor analysis, and build topical maps/content hubs
  • Optimize on-page elements (titles, metas, headers, internal links, anchor strategy, media optimization)
  • Implement structured data/Schema (JSON-LD) and manage validation and monitoring
  • Plan, brief, and QA AI-assisted content with human-in-the-loop guardrails for accuracy, originality, and E-E-A-T
  • Build and iterate websites and landing pages using AI-assisted workflows and modern site builders (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
  • Execute technical fixes and front-end improvements (HTML/CSS basics, image optimization, redirects)
  • Manage site migrations, URL mapping, and 301/302 strategies with minimal ranking loss
  • Set up and maintain analytics and tracking (GA4, GSC, GTM) and connect reporting in Looker Studio
  • Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions; deliver insights-driven, action-oriented reporting
  • Improve Core Web Vitals and page speed via performance best practices and tooling
  • Implement and manage internal linking frameworks and content hierarchy for scalability
  • Coordinate local SEO where needed (Google Business Profile, citations, NAP consistency)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, attend scheduled calls, and manage deliverables to timelines
  • Run CRO experiments/A-B tests on key pages to lift conversions and engagement
  • Stay current on Google algorithm updates and update strategies to mitigate risk
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, and wireframing—while enforcing editorial and SEO safeguards
  • Maintain clean documentation, SOPs, and consistent project workflows in PM tools

  • Industry Knowledge Required: house painters (US + Canada) primarily, expanding into general home improvement contractors - real vertical, worth flagging as relevant experience if candidates have it

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-to-action mindset
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO, site architecture, and schema

  • UX/CRO sensibility for high-performing landing pages
