Instagram Content Producer & Strategist
Remote - 5:00 PM till 1:00 AM Beirut Time - Salary $2,500

Company Overview

The company is a creator-led education and events business that helps entrepreneurs and sales professionals—primarily in mortgage and real estate—build personal brands and grow through content, marketing, and modern distribution. It serves this community through online programs, a private mastermind, live events, workshops, and a deep library of content across social platforms, YouTube, podcasts, and stage presentations. The culture is fast-moving, collaborative, and content-obsessed, valuing initiative, high standards, and clear outcomes. It's a founder-driven brand where you learn directly from high performers and turn ideas into real impact. If that sounds like your kind of environment, this is a place to do your best work.

Mission

We're looking for an Instagram Content Producer & Strategist to own the day-to-day operation of the founder's personal brand on Instagram, mining a robust content vault—short-form, long-form, podcasts, live teaching, event footage, and more—to develop platform-native ideas, publish consistently, and analyze performance to keep improving. This isn't a queue-driven editor role: you'll bring strong content judgment, propose what to make next, shape how it's packaged, and explain why it will work. You'll collaborate with an on-site team for new footage when needed and use AI intelligently for speed and research, without losing the brand's human voice. If you love ownership, moving fast, testing smartly, and pushing what's possible on Instagram, you'll feel right at home.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence.

  • Review the existing content vault (long-form videos, podcasts, live teaching, event footage, short-form clips, photos, past posts) and independently identify high-potential moments for Instagram—not waiting to be told what to cut.
  • Develop and recommend content ideas, hooks, angles, and repeatable formats informed by what's already working, platform trends, and performance data.
  • Turn long-form and raw footage into Instagram-native Reels and carousels—rebuilding, rewriting, or re-recording when needed instead of simply clipping.
  • Edit short-form video specifically optimized for Instagram—pacing, captions, visual hooks, B-roll, retention, and engagement mechanics that drive shares and saves.
  • Create platform-native assets: Reels, carousels, written posts, and photo posts—selecting the best format for each idea.
  • Write and refine on-screen titles, opening hooks, captions, thumbnails/covers, and overall visual packaging.
  • Maintain an organized, consistent publishing cadence and keep the Instagram content pipeline moving.
  • Publish content and monitor reach, watch time/retention, shares, saves, follows, and engagement to understand why pieces work or don't.
  • Identify patterns in top performers and evolve them into repeatable formats, series, or franchises.
  • Proactively pitch new content ideas and formats (e.g. "this could work better as a carousel" or "let's reshoot this trend this way") rather than only executing assigned edits.
  • Coordinate with the on-site team when new footage or specific scenes need to be captured.
  • Propose workflow and organizational improvements to increase speed, consistency, and quality.
  • Use AI tools (client will provide Claude/ChatGPT access) for research, transcript mining, ideation, repurposing, and variations—while preserving Neel's authentic voice and branding, never producing generic "AI slop."
  • Repurpose winning content for secondary platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok) when appropriate, with Instagram as the priority.
  • Stay current with Instagram trends, formats, and features; test new approaches and retire what's no longer working.
  • Reports directly to Neel, possibly coordinating with one other team member.

Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: 3–5 years producing and editing Instagram-first short-form content for creator/founder or personality-led brands
  • CRM Tool: Not required
  • Softwares: Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro; CapCut; After Effects (nice to have); Descript for transcript mining; Meta Business Suite/Creator Studio or a scheduler (e.g., Later); Frame.io/Google Drive/Dropbox; AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Notion AI) for research and workflow
  • Industry Knowledge Required: Personal branding and content marketing for entrepreneurs and sales professionals, with familiarity in mortgage and real estate audiences
  • Specific Gender: No preference

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep, specific Instagram expertise—not a generalist social media strategist; sharp instincts for hooks, retention mechanics, packaging, trends, and native formats
  • Strong short-form video editing skills with excellent editorial judgment and taste; ability to find the strongest angle without heavy direction
  • Genuine creative taste—an already-strong sense of what looks good, not something being learned on the job
  • High-level short-form storytelling, pacing, and visual polish
  • Strong copywriting for hooks, titles, captions, and carousel frames
  • Analytical mindset: read data, spot patterns, form hypotheses, and iterate
  • Design sense for thumbnails/covers and carousels that drive taps and watch time
  • High-agency and proactive, but coachable—comfortable making decisions independently without needing every call made for them, while staying open to direction and feedback
  • Confident enough to have a point of view on strategy, but receptive when given feedback—not purely an order-taker, but not purely independent either; communicates clearly and defends recommendations with data
  • AI fluency with human judgment; speeds up work without producing generic outputs
  • Comfortable collaborating with on-site shooters and managing feedback loops

Technical Requirements

  • Own PC or laptop
  • Reliable internet connection (wired connection recommended)
  • Noise-cancelling headset and a quiet, professional workspace
  • Access to professional editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent)
  • Mobile editing capability for quick turnarounds (e.g., CapCut/Premiere Rush)
  • Ability to manage large media files and revisions via cloud storage (Google Drive/Dropbox/Frame.io)
  • Access to Instagram Business/Creator tools for publishing and analytics (Meta Business Suite)

Position Description

  • Working Hours: 8 hours, from 5:00 PM till 1:00 AM Beirut Time
  • Working Days: 5 days a week
  • Days Off: Saturday and Sunday
  • Work Location: Fully-remote, you can work from anywhere
  • PTO: Flexible PTO with a standard 1-week advance notice.
Holidays: Follows the US holiday calendar.
  • Salary Range: $2,500
