Medical Case Manager
Company Overview
It is a medical case management firm that partners with personal injury law firms to connect injured clients with the medical care they need. The company acts as a vital bridge between the medical and legal fields, streamlining the path to recovery for patients while ensuring law firms receive seamless, comprehensive case support. The company guides clients through their entire treatment journey, coordinating appointments, communicating with providers, collecting medical records, and returning completed cases to the referring law firms. This role acts as an extension of the law firm case managers specifically on the medical coordination side. The culture emphasizes clear communication, client advocacy, and a high-touch approach to helping people get the care they need during a stressful time.
Mission
We're looking for a compassionate, organized Medical Case Manager who enjoys being the point person for injured clients and helping them access appropriate medical care. In this role, your focus will be on exceptional customer service, coordination, and relationship management rather than hands-on clinical medical decisions. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 70 patients, handling inbound and outbound client communications, completing comprehensive intakes, coordinating treatment and follow-up appointments, tracking progress with providers, ensuring patient compliance with treatment plans, and maintaining detailed case notes until medical treatment is complete and records are returned to the law firm. If you enjoy building strong client relationships, clear communication, problem-solving, and have a strong, task-oriented sense of ownership—you'll feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence.

- Manage medical treatment coordination for personal injury and workers' compensation cases, extending the capabilities of the partnering law firm's case management team.
- Respond thoroughly and professionally to client text messages, email inquiries, and communications from doctors and law firms.
- Coordinate medical treatment scheduling and follow-up care for clients, including referrals.
- Proactively follow up with patients to ensure strict compliance with their scheduled treatment plans.
- Facilitate ongoing communication with healthcare providers regarding client prognosis and future medical needs.
- Ensure continuity of care by coordinating referrals, follow-up appointments, and required documentation.
- Collect medical records at case completion and prepare the case to be returned to the referring law firm.
- Collaborate with internal team members, external providers, and law firms to support successful case outcomes.
