Position: Operations Project Manager
Working Hours: 9 hours, from 4 PM till 1 AM Beirut Time
Salary Range: 2,500-3,000 USD/per month
Company Overview
The company is a residential solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) provider that sells, designs, and installs solar and energy storage systems directly to homeowners. It manages the full project lifecycle—from customer acquisition and system design to permitting, installation, commissioning, and utility permission to operate (PTO). Beyond new installations, it also services and maintains solar systems across Connecticut.
With a hands-on, quality-first approach, the company values clear communication, accountability, and excellent customer experiences. Homeowners can choose from multiple financing options, including cash, loan, and lease/PPA, making clean energy accessible and affordable. You’ll join a collaborative, mission-driven team that takes pride in doing things right the first time and seeing projects through to successful completion.
Mission
We’re looking for an Operations Project Manager who will own the day-to-day coordination of residential solar and storage projects from contract execution through PTO and closeout. You’ll be the central hub between sales, engineering, interconnection, procurement, installers, inspectors, customers, and leadership—keeping timelines on track, documentation accurate, and communication flowing.
In this role, your days will include tracking milestones, clearing roadblocks, preparing jobs for scheduling, coordinating inspections, and ensuring every requirement is met for a smooth install and timely PTO. If you enjoy being organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented—and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where communication and ownership matter—you’ll feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence. You’ll own project coordination and keep everyone aligned from contract through PTO.
- Open and maintain project files immediately after contract execution.
- Track each project through design/engineering, permitting, interconnection, procurement, construction, inspection, and PTO.
- Coordinate information between sales, engineering, interconnection, procurement, installers, inspectors, customers, and management.
- Maintain accurate project status, milestones, outstanding items, and deadlines in tracking systems.
- Monitor and track permits, approvals, utility requirements, and all project documentation.
- Coordinate material requirements with procurement to ensure timely availability.
- Partner with the Scheduler to confirm project readiness before assigning installation dates.
- Coordinate inspections, utility visits, and any corrective or punch-list work.
- Track change orders and scope changes; update records and notify stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation is complete and accurate at every stage of the project.
- Identify stalled or at-risk projects early; proactively escalate and drive resolution.
- Support clear, timely customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare projects for final closeout and secure utility PTO.
- Contribute ideas to reduce cycle times and improve on-time project delivery.
